Your dream wedding venue in the heart of Oxfordshire

This Oxfordshire wedding venue offers a truly remarkable experience for couples and their guests.

Kingston Bagpuize House has several options for ceremonies on site. We are licenced to hold ceremonies on the front lawn, with the House as your back drop and the avenue of Wellingtonias on either side the vista is incredible. You can also host your ceremony under the Pavillion in the Woodland Garden surrounded by incredible foliage and greenery, the maximum capacity for this is 120.

If you would like to hold a blessing elsewhere on site we would be delighted to show you the many options from West Park, to the Wildlife Lake as well as various other beautifully manicured spots throughout the Estate.

Due to the size of the Estate, you are welcome to hold your Wedding Breakfast or Party elsewhere on site there are several different locations that you are welcome to use and we have a list of marquee, stretch tent and tipi suppliers that we can recommend for every event.

Lawn Wedding

One of the most popular options for those getting married at Kingston Bagpuize House in the summer months is a lawn wedding.

The ceremony is held in the doorway to the Drawing Room which is elevated by steps and wedding guests take their seats on the front lawn of the house.

This is a great way to make the most of the stunning house, as well as the beautiful gardens.

Getting married on the lawn gives you the option to have your reception either in the house, or in the stunning marquee.

House Ceremony

Holding your ceremony in the house, is perfect for those who want to make the very most of this stunning Oxfordshire stately home.

If you wish to hold you ceremony inside Kingston Bagpuize House, the spectacular Drawing Room is the perfect place. With a stunning chandelier, double fireplace, large windows and a view straight down 'The Avenue' this room creates the perfect atmosphere for a stately home wedding.

Our inside ceremonies can hold up to 97 guests comfortably.

Pavilion Ceremony

Within the sprawling grounds of Kingston Bagpuize House sits the beautiful Pavilion.

The Pavilion offers the opportunity to have a truly alfresco wedding. Set in the Woodland Garden surrounded by beautiful foliage and greenery, this secluded spot can hold 120 guests.

The Pavilion is just a short walk through the manicured grounds back to the House.

Thanks to the size of the Kingston Bagpuize House estate, there are a number of options should you wish to hold a blessing in the grounds, from West Park to the stunning Wildlife Lake, there are many options, please just get in touch to discuss

Your perfect spot

We are now lucky enough to offer ceremonies anywhere on site. This means that you can pick your perfect spot for a ceremony from the front avenue to the pond, to the edge of the West Park, the choice is yours. (Please note this is providing the registration service are aware of this in advance.)

Marquee Details

With panoramic windows giving a fantastic view of both West Park and the House our luxury marquee is included in our Exclusive Hire Price. The marquee is 15m x 21m and can seat between 80-200 guests

Exclusive hire of venue

Weddings benefit from exclusive use of the house including the Entrance Hall, Drawing Room, Library and Dining Room.

Use of the bridal suite

You will have access to the bridal suite for the duration of the day.

Wedding coordinator & team

Couples will have a dedicated wedding coordinator as well as a team of experienced staff.

Exclusive use of the grounds

Your wedding party will have exclusive use of the grounds including the Woodland Garden, Garden Park, Pavillion, Croquet Lawn and the Avenue.

Fully equipped marquee

Should you want it, there is access to a full equipped marquee which can seat up to 200 people.

Licenced Bar and staff

We have a fully licenced bar on site as well as a team of experienced bar staff.

On-site parking

There is ample on-site parking. Cars to be collected by 10am the following day.
